The biggest surprise ever!

We were supposed to be going out to lunch today with my Bro and his wife, Andrew and Ruth - and Reuben of course - with my parents, to one of our favourite canalside hostelries, to discuss plans for the parents 60th wedding anniversary.

For reasons which are not important, Mrs DD and I were a little late. We ordered a drink, sat down at the table and settled in ready to select from the menu.

A young lady came up behind us and asked who had ordered the beer and when we turned round we found that said young lady was Hannah - aka Bananablip - who has returned a month early from Zambia. She had been hidden away in the kithcn until we arrived.

This had been plotted for some weeks and was planned as a surprise for us.

Surprise it was. But great to have her home again.
