For many years I always head out to capture the first sunrise of the New Year, sometimes I've gotten lucky with a stunning sunrise but this morning wasn't one of them, rain showers had me retreating back to my car to stay dry... The sun didn't appear, in the end I had to leave because I had to be back home to get the boys to head to a bonus parkrun for New Years Day...
