2021!

Happy New Year! 

My day got off to a bright start when I took Django up the top field to watch the sunrise. A's plans to go swimming in Gladhouse Reservoir were put on hold when a friend posted photos taken this morning of it frozen! However, she made it into the water in the afternoon!

I asked myself last night whether 2021 is a prime number, but it's not. Indeed, it's 43*47, so it's the difference of 45^2 and 2^2. Such differences are coming thick and fast (2009, 2016, 2021, 2024) as we approach 2025. This is 45^2, the first square year since 1936. So, something to look forward to!
