Happy New Year

A new year is here and I started with a run of 8 miles. It is strange how 8 miles seems quite short these days!

It actually snowed during my run which was very lovely as the streets were quiet and it was rather pretty.

When I got home the rest of the family were still asleep although not for long and when my son woke he went into the garden with the puppy and made this snowman, which made me laugh. It’s only a few inches tall on the roof of our greenhouse.

We will be having a roast dinner together today and a dog walk later this afternoon and getting ready for the year ahead. Let’s hope it is a good one.
