2021 !

Happy New Year ! 

A quiet Hogmanay (but then they generally are for us) in which we watched "That Sinking Feeling" (continuing our exploration of Scottish Film Classics) and for the Bells a live stream from the Birks Cinema in Aberfeldy, much more enjoyable than BBC or STV offerings, with a sense of community from the live comments. 

After lunch we drove over to Knockbarrie, a wooded knoll which we can see from our house but had never visited.  The path underfoot was icy but we managed and in addition to fine view of the town we also were treated to fine view as Ben Vrackie.  A good way to start the year, especially given that one of our intentions is to explore the Moulin Moors in more depth.

A new jigsaw has been started and we plane to watch Death on the Nile tonight (in absence of any new Agatha Christie being shown on TV). 

I also started Scabby Queen by Kristin Innes and was immediately hooked.
