Red in the Grey

Went for a walk this morning & Smoochi led the way.
I was looking for something that shone bright & wanted to be noticed, then hanging alone on it's twig was this red Hip or Berry, i'm not overly sure which, but it seemed to be asking for me to see it & remember it's life before when in the Spring the twigs leaves shone a bright green, then came a beautiful flower then this beautiful red.
I will walk that way again this year & take notice of the colourful beauty on a twig.
