The New Year's Walk

My new year's walk took me to the area around the water basin in Nanzdietschweiler (absolutely no one else there).
I spotted this apple tree with all it's red apples in a paddock in the Glan valley, all fenced in and out of reach. Still so many up on the tree, but just as many on the ground. Someone will have a feast on them I hope, sooner or later.
