Happy New Year!

I'm not sorry about leaving 2020 behind, but it wasn't all awful and I do have some happy memories. I probably appreciated things more when we were allowed to do them again, like getting out for a proper walk in the Borders and seeing friends in their homes, or else just sitting in the sun in places which I had only discovered because of lockdown. Probably my best memory of lockdown is seeing James Corden in One Man, Two Guvnors, courtesy of the National Theatre's screenings.

I'm really hoping that this time next year, things will be more or less normal again, although I expect normal might turn out to be a bit different.
