Flooded Oxbow

A bright cool day to clear out some cobwebs and welcome the New Year. Last time we visited the Oxbow on the Carol Getchell Reservation, snow was on the ground and a heron was fishing in the icy water. Now the Sudbury River is flooded after torrential rains on Christmas Day and everything is submerged. No heron :-(
