Little Cherubs

We had a lovely evening yesterday , eating and drinking and playing games with the children. We all stayed up to see the fireworks and light show in London on tv then went to bed. It was nice to wake up on January 1st with a completely clear head.
This morning, after a short dog walk, I ironed all the tablecloths and napkins we used over Christmas while D watched a documentary about Iron Maiden. This is a square cloth which D’s mum and dad bought us many years ago. I think it came from a German Christmas market. It’s a bit worn and has a little hole in it now but I still get it out every Christmas.
I spent a couple of hours preparing for next term then watched some more tv with D. Left over beef Wellington tonight.
