1st day of a new year!

The new year started crisp and cold! Minus 3 degrees!
The day was another glorious winter’s day sun, blue sky and no wind! :)

First time I’ve been in bed before the bells since I was a wee girl! And I realised it is first time I’ve been in Scotland for New Year for 10 years! Not the a typical new year at all! Very quiet!
The annual concert from Vienna was so uplifting and wonderful music from talented musicians and conductor Ricardo Mutti ( he stayed often when I worked in one of the 5 star Edinburgh hotels....... a lovely kind gentleman!)
Onwards and upwards as I keep saying we will get out of this this year!

A power walk through the woods before lunch then a lot of yakking on phone and FaceTime catching up with family and friends.
