Late night

Hetty wasn’t overly keen to see in the new year, she didn’t get to her bed until gone 1am. We attempted a walk before breakfast but didn’t get far as it was far too slippery. We did get out mid morning and walked down to the river. We settled for an hour or so with fire on, books and a glass of fizz, then coffee and Hetty was obviously very tired as she got up on the settee and curled up and slept.
It’s been a lovely relaxing day and a good start to the new year.
