New Sailor

I was going to post ice fisherman at play today, but since it's been one year today that my son boarded a plane to South Carolina and started his Navy training I decided to post this photo instead. It was taken Dec. 20, 2019 at his bootcamp graduation ceremony. Eight weeks away from home and the reunion was amazing. The pandemic was right around the corner, but we were oblivious. I wish I could go back to this time, there were no worries. I didn't see my son at Christmas due to Covid, I hope to this spring.
