Snow and fungi

I've been promising for months, if not years, that I'd return to blipping.  New Year's Day seems as good a day as any.  

R & I wanted fresh air,  but just took a short walk - she has a sore toe - and saw these glorious orange fungi on a beech tree in the park which fell a year ago, crusted with the remains of  Wednesday's snow.
