Until the last couple of days it has been almost impossible to walk beside a local field but now the hard frost has frozen the mud.  It was a beautiful day with hardly a breath of wind and there were extensive views to the north towards the distant snowy mountains and the blue water of the Forth which unfortunately is now out of bounds .  The icy puddle reminded me of today’s walk with the little leaves and grass representing the woods and fields and the patterns in the ice representing the snow covered hills and mountains with little white clouds and the blue sky above.
