Three Forth Bridges
It was a lovely winter’s day for the start of 2021. We drove to Dalmeny station and parked there for a walk to bag the 2 remaining Tumps within the Edinburgh boundary in the Dalmeny Estate. As we walked to the entrance we met 2 friends coming back from a walk in the estate and stood in the sun having a good blether. We had our lunch sat in the sun before going up the 2 hills; the estate was busy with people walking and an odd cyclist braving the icy roads. We walked back to the car on the high road to Dalmeny village, where the blip was taken looking over the fields to the Forth bridges with the snowy Ochils behind them. It’s a panorama of 3 shots so that the Ochils can be seen. The extra is an unusual view of part of the bridges from the low road from Dalmeny station.
Best on black.
