Pembroke , the docks are hiding just around the corner . Sunny journey all the way to Wales , where it suddenly clouded over , roads quiet and good time made. There were 8 cars for the ferry and all being repatriated , the ticket office last and the boarder police were all very chatty and obviously needed some thing to pass the time . Basil was greatly admired and dog conversations were lengthy and good !
Smooth ferry crossing , cabin perfect . Home at 10 pm to find the freezer defrosting and a trail of pink stuff snaking across the floor . We did what we could to save stuff and cleaned up what turned out to be black current juice mixed with raw dog meat juice , mmmm.
Still good to be home . 14 days of self isolation now , i have a long to do list !
