winter aconites
woke up to more snow, a good excuse to laze about and cook a sunday brunch! I had planned to take a drive to a nearby farm and garden that was holding an open afternoon as part of Scotland's Garden Scheme, to show off the snowdrops. luckily the snow had melted and the sun came out, so I had a pleasant hour taking photos, mostly of the snowdrops but was surprised to see carpets of lovely bright winter aconites in among the snowdrops. One of those days when you can't decide which shot to post. I also took some interesting 'wood' shots for a flickr challenge.
soon be time to settle down for Dancing on Ice. only three weeks left. the casserole is in the oven, John can serve me mine on a tray!!
