Grasses

It was a lovely crisp, icy morning, which attracted hundreds of people to walk on the frozen muddy paths around Hollingworth Lake. I only saw one fall, as a young child, larking around, fell over backwards,

Mother: "I told you to step messing around or you would fall on your arse.  So what did you do?"

Child, tearfully: "I fell on me arse."

I thought I might choose this romantic image for today - until I got home to find that the person on the right seemed to have a cube-shaped head.

On my way to the Lake, the view to the West offered some pleasant silhouetted details and the sun shining through the canal side trees was also striking.
