Snowy Blackbird

The Estate was beautifully cold and crisp early this morning when we took our daily walk to feed the ducks and swans (and gulls).  There were only a couple of crunchy puddles for Euan to enjoy so we went down to the playpark in the village.  The slides were iced over it was so cold but Euan was nicely insulated on the swing.  By the time we were home for banana muffins, the sky had clouded over and it wasn't too long before the snow arrived.  

Euan is having a long nap so today it is a birdblip of this female blackbird waiting out the snow shower on our neighbour's ivy covered shed.
