Gimme Shelter

Brian informed me that snow was forecast for this morning but when I got up there was none. Not unusual as it often bypasses us completely.

At lunchtime there was a brief flurry. Once we'd eaten we headed off to the park and as we did another little shower came along. We have snow!! It did not last long, but I managed to get a shot of an older couple sheltering in the summer house. 

I know some of you are snowed-in your home, or have snow deep enough to crunch underfoot and are laughing at this photo, but for us this is quite a big deal. A bit more snow falls as I type... It isn't really settling though.

Otherwise not much has been done. Tomorrow will come the task of un-Christmassing the house!
