Three Sisters Wetland Nature Reserve

MrsB and I ventured out for our first walk of the year this morning, fresh snow on the already crisp ground and a clear blue sky!
We headed to the above area, designated in 2011 from reclaimed mining works and three large slag heaps (hence the name).
The usually busy lake was deserted by the birds, being frozen solid, but it made for a pretty Winter scene!!
