Intrepid explorers

We finally made it over to Cramond Island (accessible only at low tide) this morning! There was a fine dusting of fluffy snow just as we got up, and it lay right down to the water's edge. The only problem was the mud on the way back - no welly boots were harmed.

The afternoon has been made up of lounging and an impromptu neighbourhood gathering (several people in the street together now seems like a gathering in COVID world) to sweep snow, throw snowballs and compare stories of not-terribly-exciting staycation activities.
