Dartmoor pony
A beautiful day exploring Dartmoor, from the wild and rugged Hound Tor, to the grey and dismal Princetown with its Victorian prison, to stunning deserted moorland with its flowering gorse and scrubby undergrowth. I have decided to blip this pony; it and its mum suddenly appeared cropping the grass outside the Church in Widdicombe (as in Uncle Tom Cobley, not as in Anne). Normally we see them out in the wilds so it was lovely to find one in the village and I could get up close to see the lovely glossy coat almost glowing, backlit by the winter sun,
