Snow!

This photo does not do the flake size, or the amount coming down, justice.  Snowed most of the afternoon, but has stopped now.  Very cold and icy, with lots of resident cars abandoned at the bottom of the road.

Lots of reading and tv watching again today, only disturbed by the news about schools opening or not as the case may be.  I do wonder why children/teachers down south are able to be protected but northern children/teachers are ok to go to school - but the government do not seem to want to share their wisdom on that point.  I shall practice the mindfulness that we share with our pupils and not worry about something I cannot do anything about till it happens :)
