Leanachan Walk

The snow covered track here has had a lot of traffic, mostly foot and maybe a forestry truck. The effect of compressing partially melted snow which has then refrozen overnight makes for a slippery walking surface.

Everyone managed to stay upright on this family walk. Low air temperature does not equate to cold walk. It was maybe minus two but felt much more pleasant than some recent warmer air days with wind and driving rain at 3 or 4 deg c.
