I have no idea what the deer suddenly saw, but their ceramic cement plaster fake counterparts were completely oblivious.

The extra - earlier in the afternoon on the hill beside our house - a deer #2 Son and I suddenly noticed seems to have an oddly short tail. How very peculiar. But! It means we'll be able to recognize it whenever it comes around. So that's a plus. It's (her?) name will be "Bob" of course.
