Admiring the View

A very snowy day. A proper winter day. My favourite.

In the morning, after coffee, I go up to the Braid Hills. The snowmen builders have been busy and sledging is very popular. These two snowmen looking out of Edinburgh is the blip photo. There are also excellent views to the munros to the west of Stirling (Extra 1) Not much snow at lower levels, it looks like Edinburgh got the most of the overnight snow.

In the afternoon I walk tip to the T-Wood. Extra 2 show people (dots) descending (some sledging) down from the top of the Pentland Hills. Extra 3 shows cottages in the snow at Swanston Village. The sun has just set as I cross Fairmilehead Park. Extra 4 shows families are making the most of  the limited daylight hours.
