Skating on thin ice

Another bitterly cold day. Deep clean for the kitchen first thing then visited the youngest and had a walk by the hospital, it does her the power of good. We spotted this bird ( heron I think? ) on one of the frozen ponds .
Enjoyed a stroganoff for dinner and watched some TV have a headache threatening so hoping a good sleep will get rid of it!
