Montserrat

A very unusual sight. Montserrat with a dusting of snow on it! We all met at the foot of Montserrat to drive up to the mountains for the weekend. Despit the dire weather forecast, the moonlight snowshoe walk was a great success - we didn't even need torches it was so cloud-free - ut freezing, -12ºC and that's not counting the windchill factor! It was fine while walking but once back at the refuge there was no heating in the dorm! I left my water bottle beside my bed and it was frozen in the morning :(
