And ....relax...

....and I did! Spent the 2nd day of this bright new year at home working on improving fabric piecing skills. I find putting fabrics together in patterns amazingly satisfying and relaxing:) This year I’ve decided to do the Quilters Journal BOM project but as N was giving me the base fabrics for my birthday had to wait to start so I currently have 3 blocks to do , 2 of each design. This is Block 1. The whole quilt is called ‘Gardeners Design’  and this block is called ‘ ‘Petunia’. 
The extras are the other colour way of block 1, the sprinkle of snow we had overnight in the garden and Roddy’s favoured sleeping place ( last photo courtesy of H).
