It took about 1/3 of the usual time to make soap today using the snow to cool down the lye solution and the melted oils. The melted snow circles really confused S later :) First batch of 2021 made so I can try out my christmas present. To be revealed in a day or two.

I stayed pretty much 'put' after almost coming a cropper taking out the recycling, so icy underfoot but had a lovely day of doing stuff.

NMB was rammed again this time with very dangerous parking along the A702 - wouldnt have liked to be trying to get out of the Doonies side with no visibility at all onto a fast/dangerous stretch. At this rate all the car parks will be shut down again and we'll be back in full lockdown. Most of our 'visitors' are stretching the rules somewhat being as the county boundary is about 8 miles away. Was rather surprised to find our bin full of other people's crap including macdonalds wrappings.
