More bird watching #17

An ok night, woke a few times......awake from 7.20 but hub managed to get off again, didnt wake until almost 9.

Breakfast in bed, two teas, porridge with honey for hub and blueberries in mine. Then it was meds and injection time. Shower & hair wash for me whilst hub chilled. He rallied and got himself washed & dressed.....he does seem a little brighter today. Today Mrs Blackbird was on lookout duty.....she was lucky as the ice had melted,so,she found a few morsels in the bottom of the dish.

Hub said last night that he fancied some potato hash (hotpot, lobby, call it what you will!) that,kept me busy this morning. Our neighbours knocked on to say they would take down the christmas lights from our the garage for us....they wanted to know what I was cooking, apparently they could smell it as they walked up the driveway ;-)

Hub fancied a bowl of cornflakes with ice cold milk mid morning, followed by two crackers with cheese. Later a milky coffee with a piece of fruit cake. District Nurse came around 11.30, injection 2 done & dusted.

Whilst Hub & daughter were having a face time session I popped outside to take down the lights from around the decking ballustrade. I turned to go back indoors only to see hub coming into the garden, with his big winter coat & a wooly beanie hat on....it made me smile. I went in to get my coat, should have done that before I went out, then we walked around the garden a little. Still quite a bit of snow on the ground, but it was lovely and bright, but cold. I opened up the summer house and we sat inside for 15/20 minutes, with the sun shining through the windows on our faces, it felt so nice.

Back indoors, time for some lunch, a bowl of potato hash with lashings of lea & perrins ;-)
Hub enjoyed it, ate a decent bowl full too.
Hes also had a packet of crisps and 2/3 chocolates from the Hotel Chocolate box that youngest son & DiL bought us.....not many left now ;-)

Dinner to be decided later, but it might be some home made chicken fried rice with a mild chinese curry sauce .......

Ive made a start by taking down all the christmas cards.....we seem to have received more than ever this,year strangely enough.
Will do the rest tomorrow, then its just a case of getting everything back up in the loft....might have to enlist neighbours help again.

Footy on the tv at the mo, then no doubt the darts final later.....then Countryfile and who,knows what other delights we might find lol!
