Magpie

I spotted this magpie resting in the quince tree at the bottom of the garden.   He seems to be all fluffed up against the cold.  We have two or three magpies in the garden every now and then, this one seems to be a little bit of an outcast.  I've seen him chased off by others and settle down in the corner of the garden feeling sorry for himself. He may be injured as he walks quite gingerly, but always manages to fly off eventually.
