ALFRISTON

Didn't get out for our walk till later today as we (eventually) took the decorations down. We were ambitious and set off for Alfriston - not getting there till 3pm.
It is a lovely village....even though shops were shut they were decorated beautifully...and we promised ourselves a return for a pub lunch when we can.
Also stopped at Arlington Reservoir but couldn't go for a walk round as it was beginning to get dark - even so there were a lot of people around and to my surprise sailing boats on the water, very atmospheric.
Again a promise to return there earlier in the day when the weather conditions are more favourable.
A productive day really even though I don't like it when the Christmas tree comes down.
