NOT WELL CAMOUFLAGED

Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis); male. Beautiful bird against the snow in winter. Just as beautiful at other times but it doesn't stand out as well as in winter with white snow..

EXTRA: Northern Cardinal male and female. She just appeared for a second and, before I could reset for depth of field, she was off to the feeder. Good thing I always strive to shoot an insurance shot just in case.
