Prominent Garden Perches

The redwing and the magpie chose the very top of an ash tree and the blue tit a branch very near the top of the Norway spruce. The hen blackbird favoured brambles.

My daughter visited to bring me the car club calendar that she had bought for me and returned crockery she had borrowed. This included the huge platter from the dinner service that my mother-in-law received as a wedding present in the 1920's. We enjoyed having a chat with her on the drive through the locked gate.
