Yesterday I bought a wallpaper scraper. Today I started stripping wallpaper in our bedroom and then I’ll paint using a massive tub of white emulsion I bought a few years ago to do the kitchen ceiling. I’ll see how it looks and then decide whether to leave it, buy some coloured paint or wait until we can get a decorator in to hang paper. 

I escaped for an hour this afternoon and walked along the Under Loughrigg road. Most of my shots were towards the Fairfield Horseshoe but as I’ve blipped that twice in the past week I’ve chosen a photo looking to Wansfell Pike. 

I was surprised to see a football match in the park so when i got home I looked up the Tier 4 rules on the government website. Organised sport is allowed for under 18’s. With regard to holiday accommodation it says ‘if you are already on holiday you should return home as soon as practical’. For some people it mustn't be practical to return home. Hmmm.
