Making A Joyful Noise!

This morning at FBC, we started the new year as one congregation in contemporary worship.  I know many contemporary worship songs, but today I was introduced to some new ones, so my joyful noise of praise was a learning experience.  The bonus was that I got to watch and hear my son play bass for more than a few lines at the end of their music set.  Then our interim pastor, Dr. David Smith, spoke to us about a plan, grounded in Scripture, that we could use to pray for the concerns that God lays on our hearts.  I think it is a good way to start the year.  Next week we will return to two music services, but we are still one congregation seeking for the senior pastor God has prepared for us!
