Walking by a Water Race

What a wonderful day we have had walking in the brilliant sunshine (+28C) from Camphill Road to Lake Hawea.  The extras missed the cut.  (1)  High Five, (2)  My 2 daughters setting out, (3)  With The Boss from Tussock Tales, (4)  Friends at Lake Hawea, (5)  At the White Water Park on the Hawea River.  We stopped for a cuppa on the way home at a local cafe.

It was very hot, so I have had gallons of water to drink since I got home.  Walked over 19,000 steps, which is about 14 K.  Quite far enough on such a hot day.  It was lovely having my 2 daughters walking with me.

Time to put my feet up, and watch another episode of "The Crown'.
