Lake Hawea

Out with the Wanaka Walkers today and wonderful to renew some friendships with folk not seen for a while. The Boss got multiple cuddles and folk were happy to see ME again. It was a great stagger (well they are all getting older...OK) of nearly 15 km and even greater to hit a favourite Cafe that had Blueberry muffins on special (double butter please).
For those folk that don't know  Lake Hawea is just down the road a tad from Lake Wanaka and there  is a fab walking / cycling trail that runs along the side of the river outlet from the lake.
Sun screen was required.  (sorry)
