The next challenge

Today I spent an hour and a half at the allotment, this shows my handiwork from last weekend and today. I got rid of pretty much all of the remaining nasty weeds (what's left is pretty harmless so I'll just dig that over). The next job will be to properly dig it over and get some compost and stuff down. This photo though shows what is probably going to be a bit of a challenge - there's quite a lot of plastic that was put down ages ago to suppress the weeds, but (particularly at the far end) it's really close to the top of the soil, which means it'll not be great for growing and will also suppress the worms coming up from underneath. So it's going to have to go before I can get properly digging.

I am aching all over now!
