Vigilance • Courage • Pride

On January 1 Sgt. Andrew Harnett, Calgary Police Services was killed in the line of duty. The City of Calgary has embraced his courage and his duty in keeping us safe. The blue ribbon campaign is in his honour. The city lost a good one.

My daughter is also a Calgary City Police officer so this has hit close to home. Being the mother of a cop can be terrifying but I am so proud of her every single day.
