We're Going To Need A Plan

Very wise words today from mrsfb.

We drove up to the FIL's empty house in Castle Bromwich to check it was OK but mainly to turn the water off (we failed in that as I couldn't get the stopcock to move). We came back with a couple of boxes of paperwork to sort through but it's pretty clear it is going to be a huge, huge job to sort the house out. Every cupboard and drawer is filled to overflowing, and there are piles of 'stuff' in every possible space. This is the box room which it has been impossible, and indeed forbidden, to enter for as many years as I can remember.  We dread to think how much more junk might be in the loft.
