A Glasgow winter

Only in Glasgow could you see a scene like this - a frozen-over pond with a shopping trolley sticking out! There were at least a hundred people on the ice, including a hockey game and one professional figure skater who had an entire crowd enthralled with her graceful moves!

Queen's Park was so full of people, especially sledding down the icy hills which was a lot of fun to watch. You couldn't have payed me to get on the pond, though - in many places around the edge it was a melting puddle, and many people thought they'd "test the thickness" by making massive holes all over the place!
