311: Old Barn, Southam

"This 'barn' - unusual in this area to be built of lias stone - is on the path leading to Thorpe Bridge. It is featured on the Holy Well Walk information boards, is thought to be of medieval origin and may have originally been a chapel possibly linked with the settlement of Thorpe. It is a scheduled ancient monument and is thought to be the second oldest building in the Southam area after St. James' church."

Had a great afternoon out with Karen aka Draco. :-)
