Doodle #7 (Monday 4th January 2021)

There was a house-rattling extended noise from somewhere nearby this morning. I went to investigate and traced the source to an ambulance helicopter that was by then taking off again from the grounds of St Mary's school opposite.
It was too far away to get a decent shot but I continued on my walk as far as the surgery at Beversbrook to see if their windows contained any information about future vaccinations. I was also keeping an eye out for cats. I saw one tabby but it disappeared into a hole in a hedge when I tried to communicate with it. I got home an hour later without having taken any pictures, or done any shopping.
Instead I searched through my doodle book for anything suitable for Picturemull's Mono Monday challenge, whose theme was anything that linked to a blip of hers from 2014 entitled Where Did All The Time Go?
This doodle was made on 22 February 1968, almost 53 years ago and poses to me much the same question.
It was made with a Rapidograph using only black Rotring drawing ink, but whilst adjusting contrast and brightness to the image some of the lines took on a slightly blue quality that I rather liked and allowed to remain, but I hope that doesn't rule it out as a monochrome. I thought it also suggested peering into the unknown, as we all are.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Supremes - Where Did Our Love Go (2003 Remix) (recorded by 8 April 1964 at Hitsville, Detroit MI)
Given the theme Where Did All The Time Go I thought this title suitable. First offered to and rejected by the Marvelettes, and not much loved by the Supremes, it became their breakthrough hit and led to their becoming Motown's most successful act. When it appeared on the album The No. 1's it had been remixed from the original multi-tracks, along with 23 other number one hits. I recently acquired that album and have been playing it since. I had to an import a US pressing as the English version used unremixed versions.
