Land Rover
There's a land rover on a farm in Zimbabwe that these boys are going to love - if we ever manage to get there. I can't wait to visit there with the boys, they will love every second of it. In the mean time, we have a toy one in a park on a wet and cold January day.
Park this morning, home, car-washing this afternoon, I wasn't really in the mood, but the eldest was desperate to do it. I've been in a grouchy mood for a couple of days, worried about school opening. Yesterday I was hopeful, resigned and devastated today. How they could leave it this late is beyond me.
On a positive note, I was out running this morning and, the husband has found out that the hard drive I thought was no longer working is fine, so all my photo's of a mis-spent youth have been found - as have the pictures of the boys when they were babies. So it hasn't all been bad.
Today I'm grateful for
Some puppy progress - I think... it's taking a long time
A naughty snooze on the sofa at lunch time with the boys
That the husband had the foresight that one of the reasons for my giving up work was that Covid was going to last a long time, we only just coped last time and at least now there isn't the pressure of trying to work full time as well.
