A weathery day
One of the paramedics came up with that phrase as we routed round the showers on the way back from Hull Royal Infirmary today.
We had landed in what looked like a lovely field, but turned out to be a quagmire. Mud absolutely everywhere. Filthy. But we made a difference to someone's life - little old lady had had a fall outside and cracked her skull and we got the doctor to her in short order then onto HRI for some surgery so that was a good result. Worth a bit of mud!
Lock down day today - what a surprise. Why can't people just obey the rules?
I have this theory that we've evolved as far as we're going to go. And now we are beginning to devolve. Ach, it's tough times. Everyone is under a lot of pressure.
