Winter wonderland

At home it was so grey and foggy, with no snow to be seen, we fancied a walk in the snow, but didn’t want to travel very far. We decided to he’d to the Jura hills just behind Aarau, and park at the Barmelweid clinic, at about 750m. There had been a really good dump of snow, and it had brought out most of the population of the canton out with their sledges! We had a super walk through the forest, visiting the highest point in Aarau. There weren’t too may people on these tracks, most were pulling kids sledges up the little fields and hills round the edge of the forest
